Marbling

This art project was all about marbling. To do this project we started out with drawing a picture and outlining it with a permanent marker.After that we cut it out. We used a theme of famous place around the world. We then sprayed shaving cream in tubs and splattered paint on top of the shaving cream. We mixed and designed the shaving cream then into patterns then place our drawing face down into the mixture.  After we took our picture off the mixture we scraped the shaving cream and paint off.  

An extension of this activity would be to have your students make a poster about there drawing and place it was located. For example mine picture was on the Leaning Tower of Pisa so I would make a poster with details about the Leaning Tower.
